The Feed Bin was purchased by Marty and Patricia Morehart in 1966, and remained in their family for four generations. Both pictured here and their two daughters, Katie and Kasey, holding their own children. The building was originally Potter's Trading Post, and dates back to the 1920s. At one time, it had a petting zoo in back with goats, pigs, and rabbits. During one Christmas, there was a Santa Claus sled and reindeer mounted on the roof.

The Morehart family recently lost their pet supply store in the Palisades Fire, but Katie and Kasey are continuing the a legacy and tradition for the Morehart family with Wachters Hay & Grain in Ojai, California.
